Privacy policy
The short version
The quiz runs entirely in your browser. We do not receive your answers. The only thing we ever collect is an email address, and only if you type it in yourself.
1. What we store
- Your quiz answers: never sent anywhere. They exist in page memory and disappear when you close the tab.
- Your language choice: stored in your browser's
localStorageunderzonesoul_lang, so the site opens in your language next time. It never leaves your device. - Aggregate analytics: page views and referrers, collected without cookies and without cross-site identifiers (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Email address: only if you submit the form. Stored with our email provider and used to send the guide you asked for.
2. Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. If you click an affiliate link, the merchant may set a cookie to attribute the sale to us; that is their cookie and their policy, not ours. If advertising is added later, we will add a consent banner for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK before any non-essential cookie is set.
3. Third parties we use
- Hosting: Cloudflare (Pages) — server logs for security and abuse prevention.
- Email: our email list provider, which processes the address you submit.
- Affiliate partners: merchants linked from our guides (for example Amazon, app subscription programmes). They may set their own cookies.
4. Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never change our rankings: recommendations are chosen by fit, not by commission.
5. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, California or another jurisdiction with data rights, you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete any personal data we hold about you. In practice that is your email address and its subscription status. Write to privacy@zonesoul.com and we will action it within 30 days.
Unsubscribing from any email marks you as removed from the list immediately; the suppression record is kept so we do not email you again by accident.
6. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child submitted an email, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, for email subscribers, mention it in the next email.
